Standard First Aid and CPR + AED Course

Our 3 day standard first aid and CPR + AED Course is designed for those who need to be a certified First Aider and is accredited by the National First Aid Council (Singapore) (NFAC) and National Resuscitation Council (NRC). This course equips participants with the practical and theoretical skills to carry out critical life saving techniques and procedures during an emergency.


  • Introduction to emergency action plans
  • Introduction to, and management of respiratory emergencies and causes of breathing difficulties such as choking
  • Introduction to, and management of cardiovascular emergencies
  • Wound management and arrest of haemorrhaging
  • Introduction to, and management of neurological emergencies
  • Introduction to, and management of soft tissue injuries
  • Introduction to, and management of environmental emergencies
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with the use of Automatic External Defibrillator


At the end of the course, participants are required to undergo a theory and practical test. Upon completion a certificate, valid for 2 years, will be issued to the participants.

We thank you for your interest in the course. Courses are currently open to corporate institutions, and government organisations, with an option to organise the course at your office for the convenience of your participants. Corporate classes are held exculsively for the participants, who will receive dedicated attention from our trained medical personnel. Assessments will be done onsite and will be planned for the same day as the class.

Additionally, registration is done on a rolling basis and a minimum class size of 5 to 10 is required for an optimal learning environment. Classes are open to individual members of the public who are able to meet the above class size requirements. Do note that there is no wait-list and SEAS is unfortunately not able to permit prospective students to join the corporate classes.
